Ligret Group is engaged in integrating energy-efficient solutions in the field of alternative energy. A striking example of this integration is a joint project with Lutsk Vodokanal to create a solar power plant. Thanks to our collaborative efforts, we managed to create a modern energy system within four months to ensure the stable operation of Lutsk Vodokanal.
The main goal of the project is to meet Lutsk Vodokanal’s energy needs through renewable energy sources. The installation of 600 kW of solar power plants on the Net Billing principle at a utility company, as well as providing sustainable operation of a critical enterprise during martial law, is very crucial. To put it differently, the solar power plant will generate enough electricity to cover the electricity needs of Lutskvodokanal.
This approach will allow the company to:
- reduce electricity costs by using its resources
- reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere;
- ensure stable energy supply even in case of interruptions in the power grid.
Technical features
The solar power plant operates on the Net Billing principle: electricity fully meets the company’s needs, and the surplus is transferred to the general grid during peak generation hours. The fact of this does not only reduce the company’s costs but also contributes to the development of renewable energy in the region.
Solar power plants will enable the company to abandon traditional energy sources completely or partially. The photovoltaic plant will be balanced by generators during power outages, which will ensure uninterrupted operation at all times.
Implementing the project in such a short time is a vivid example of effective cooperation between a state-owned enterprise and a private business. This demonstrates a high level of professionalism and readiness to implement innovative solutions.
The launch of a solar power plant at Lutsk Vodokanal is an important step towards the creation of an energy-independent energy sector and the development of renewable energy in Ukraine.
